This clock is technically a “timepiece” as it does not strike the hours. It does, however, have an alarm built into it. The center brass disc is used to set when the alarm goes off, and the lower left winding hole is used to wind the alarm spring. When the alarm is tripped, there’s no way to shut it off other than letting the spring wind down – that takes about 10 seconds. Note that you can’t set the alarm more than 12 hours in the future.
As with all the clocks I sell, this one has been completely overhauled.
